This page describes what happens when you read, search, or save a story on Best Fashion Daily.
Reading and searching
You can read the journal without an account. Search runs in your browser against the journal’s article index. Search terms appear in the page URL when you submit a search; your browser may retain that URL in its history.
Fonts and editorial images are served with the site. We do not use advertising pixels or embedded social-media widgets.
Site analytics and your choices
We use Plausible, hosted at app.pageview.app, to understand aggregate visits, popular pages, and referring websites. Its script does not set analytics cookies. Requests reach that provider with ordinary network information, including your IP address and browser information, and can include the current page URL and referrer. A URL can contain search terms or other query parameters; avoid putting sensitive information in a search.
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose “Allow pageview analytics.” If you decline or have not chosen, we do not load the Google tag. When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure page visits. We configure a 30-day cookie lifetime and disable advertising signals and automatic interaction measurement.
The page-view information we send to Google Analytics includes the page title and page and referrer addresses without query parameters or fragments. We do not send your saved-story list, search terms, or form contents as analytics events. Google also receives the network information needed to handle the request. See Google’s privacy policy.
Your Google Analytics choice is saved in this browser. You can change it below. Declining after previously allowing stops further Google Analytics collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already received by Google. This choice controls Google Analytics; Plausible’s cookie-free measurement operates separately.
Saved stories
When you press a bookmark button, the site stores the article identifier in your browser’s local storage under bfd-saved-v1. The saved list stays in that browser and is not synchronized to an account or sent to an application database.
You can remove a saved story by pressing its bookmark again. Clearing this site’s browser data removes the entire list and your analytics preference. Private browsing, storage restrictions, or changing browsers can also affect whether they remain available.
Following the journal
The site offers an RSS feed. It does not ask for an email address or operate a mailing-list signup. If you use a separate feed reader, that provider’s own practices apply to information you give it.
Hosting and network requests
Serving a website requires ordinary network information such as your IP address and the requested URL. A hosting provider may process or log those requests according to its own settings and policies. This static website does not itself implement a visitor-account database.
Search visibility
We use Google Search Console to monitor how the website appears in Google Search and to submit its sitemap. This does not add a visitor-tracking script to the site.

Some articles link to source material on other websites. Visiting those sites is a separate interaction governed by their practices. We do not control their content or data handling.
